Field Quality Manager


PICKUP is an Instant Delivery service featuring Good Guy Drivers and their trucks. No more waiting a week or more for delivery of big or heavy retail items like furniture and appliances. PICKUP offers speed, flexibility and convenience. Most important, our Good Guy drivers are trust verified and go through extensive background checks. Many are military veterans, firefighters and off-duty first responders. Using their own trucks, Good Guys will transport furniture, appliances, mattresses, TVs and just about anything else on-demand.

About the Opportunity

As a Field Quality Manager with PICKUP, you will be responsible for working with our network of Good Guys (Delivery Drivers) in your service area. You will recruit, educate and onboard new and existing Good Guys, ensuring that the highest level of service standards are adhered to. Coordinating with other area leadership, you will manage the quality and quantity of the Good Guy network to meet the needs of our customers and retail partners.

What You'll Do

Quality Control

- Onboard, activate and evaluate new drivers in the market

- Conduct routine inspections of drivers and deliveries to verify that service standards are met

- Conduct in the field demonstrations of safety protocols and proper techniques

- Assist Business Development / Partner Solutions in the creation and implementation of new retailer SLAs

- Respond to damage claims by visiting with the customer onsite, inspect damage and report back to claims department

- Provide piece of mind to customer that damage will be addressed quickly

Driver Coordination

- Proactively work with drivers weekly to find out what their planned availability.

- Coordinate with drivers to reduce driver shortages

- Communicate to drivers relevant corporate information and provide input into weekly driver email communications

- Respond to damage claims by visiting with the customer onsite, inspect damage and report back to claims department

- Provide piece of mind to customer that damage will be addressed quickly

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Social media capability

- Ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks

- Must have at least 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience

- Must be able to work flexible hours

- Must be able to travel

- Must own a pickup truck
