Learning and Safety Supervisor

Clutter’s People Development Team is looking for a Learning & Safety Supervisor to help us build a world class Talent organization. This is a full-time position based in Des Moines, WA.

  • Partners with operations teams to schedule and conduct learning programs, including new hire training, safety training, and professional development
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all safety training requirements and raises adherence problems appropriately
  • Delivers training courses in accordance with standardized design method
  • Provides training and support to supervisors responsible for on-the-job training, coaching and feedback
  • Oversees performance management process to ensure effective use of measurement tools and creation of related development plans
  • Responsible for updating and revising content in accordance with standard instructional design method
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs and recommends revisions based on feedback and other metrics
  • Collaborates with supervisors and managers to provide performance consultation services, including root cause analysis and solution identification
  • Implements social and experiential learning programs and encourages adoption and use
  • Enthusiastically provides on-site support for change implementation
  • Facilitates portions of group interviewing sessions and provides feedback to hiring supervisors and managers

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two years experience in training, human resources, employee engagement, organizational development, and/or talent management preferred
  • Fluent understanding of adult learning principles and the 70:20:10 model of learning; Experience with 4MAT for Business instructional design methodology preferred
  • Proven ability to understand complex business operations and apply related issues to the learning strategy
  • Proven experience documenting processes and programs; excellent written communication skills
  • Clear, concise communicator with the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
  • Self-starter possessing flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment with priority shifts and ambiguous situations
  • Independent worker who functions well in a remotely-supervised environment
  • Assertive problem-solver with ability to articulate challenges and needs, as well as proposals for solutions
