Operate scales and provide accurate sale tags for all materials leaving yard; document & maintain records of all material sold (inventory); accept asphalt orders and communicate all scheduling to sales and plant people; track truck gate to gate times; balance cash drawer daily and make cash sales deposits; provide administrative support to the sales team; demonstrate a positive and pleasant image to all customers, sales and plant people while providing quality customer service. Work in alignment with Graniterock Safe Work Practices, Core Purpose, Values, and Objectives, and support “One Company.”
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
SKILLS: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Windows operating System. Strong organizational and communication skills; 10 key familiarity; excellent math aptitude; good phone manner and ability to work safely and independently. Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
EXPERIENCE: 1- 2 years construction industry related and/or general office experience which required good listening skills, customer interaction and ability to satisfy customer needs.
SKILLS: Bi-lingual in Spanish
EXPERIENCE: 2 -3 years experience customer service experience. Knowledge of paving operations and asphalt related products
OTHER COMMENTS: Must be a team-player, detail-oriented, flexible and able to work overtime when required. Nights and Weekends. Must be able to work at various branch locations throughout the Bay area. Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record.
