Karl Sander

Karl is a retired naval officer with 20 years’ experience in aviation, instructing, and operations management. He is a graduate of Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) and has a graduate degree from Gonzaga University (Spokane, WA). Since retiring from the U.S. Navy, he has worked as a freelance writer covering a variety of topics for clients across the country and around the world. He currently lives in Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island, Washington, with his wife, Karissa.
